Streamwood Bank Rehabiitation Project

As part of a team, METCO Services completed a topographical scan and cross section survey for hydraulic analysis of the main branch of the Rouge River for the “Streamwood” Bank Rehabilitation Project in Southfield. The project consisted of a winding section of river approximately 800 feet long and over 14 cross sections were generated. Leica’s HDS 3000 Laser Scanner was used to create a rich data set to be used to assess the rate of erosion along this section of the river.
